About Me
I am a Junior Urban Planner and GIS specialist currently completing my Master of Urban Studies at Simon Fraser University. My research focuses on the intersection of housing affordability, land values, and provincial zoning mandates—specifically analyzing the spatial impacts of BC’s Bill 44 in Surrey. I thrive on bridging the gap between rigorous policy analysis and technical spatial intelligence to help build more equitable, transit-oriented communities.
But you won’t always find me sitting in a cubicle.
I firmly believe in a “Buy It For Life” philosophy—whether that applies to building sustainable urban infrastructure or the tools I use every day. When I am not running Python scripts or compiling geoprocessing workflows on my ThinkPad, I am usually turning wrenches to keep my 1995 Volvo 850 on the road, dialing in the perfect espresso shot on a Rancilio Silvia, or working the counter as a butcher. I like getting my hands dirty, understanding how complex systems work from the inside out, and building things that last.
